Xaypanya Students Achieve Strong Results at the 2026 Hadxaifong District Science Festival

Xaypanya School students delivered a strong performance at the 2026 Hadxaifong District Science Festival, earning recognition across science and recycling fashion competitions while showcasing the school’s growing focus on practical learning, robotics, technology and innovation.

Across seven competition categories, Xaypanya achieved five podium finishes, reflecting the effort of our students, teachers and supporting teams.

In the science competitions, Upper Secondary achieved 1st place, earning the opportunity to advance to the next Vientiane stage as a representative of Hadxaifong District.

Primary students achieved 2nd place in science, while Lower Secondary finished 4th, narrowly missing the podium in a competition that tested both speed and accuracy.

Xaypanya students also performed strongly in the recycling fashion competitions:

• Kindergarten — 2nd place

• Primary — 2nd place

• Secondary — 3rd place

Beyond the competition results, the event was also an opportunity to share Xaypanya’s developing Future Makers approach with students, educators and visitors.

The Xaypanya exhibition brought together robotics, 3D printing, science, practical models and emerging technology, giving students the opportunity to explore, ask questions and interact with hands-on learning activities.

The exhibition attracted strong interest during the event, including discussions with district education representatives about Xaypanya’s developing work in AI learning and digital capability.

For Xaypanya, the festival was about more than rankings.

It gave students the opportunity to test their knowledge, present their ideas, work under competition conditions, communicate with others and see how science and technology can move beyond the classroom into something they can build, demonstrate and explain.

These experiences reflect the direction behind Xaypanya Future Makers combining strong educational foundations with more opportunities for students to investigate, create, experiment and apply what they learn.

We are proud of every student who represented Xaypanya and grateful to the teachers, families and staff who supported their preparation and participation.

We also congratulate all participating schools and students for contributing to an energetic district event celebrating science, creativity and student achievement.
